Many devices / machines do not give out a signal for malfunction when one occurs. The ELO Watch Dog Timer Relay is manufactured to add this feature to devices / machines. Normally the device or the machine is expected to reset the ELO Watch Dog Timer Relay periodically. If no reset signal is detected within the specified time, the relay turns the power off and then back on of the respective device / machine. This will cause the device / machine to hard reset.

If there is no signal recieved from the operating device / machine within the specified time period, the ELO Watch Dog Relay can activate a light or an alarm device for warning. The specified time period is adjusted by ELO according to customers' request.
