The ELO Speed Sensitive Relay produces a (+) output with a signal of 50 Hz and above coming to the 86 terminal, and cuts the output if the signal falls below 45 Hz. The relay is named Speed Sensing Door Locking Relay as the most common usage area of the relay is the automatic locking of the doors of vehicles that reach a certain speed. As the standard product is designed to correspond to 2.5 Hz to 1 km/ h, the doors of the vehicle with automatic door locking system will be locked automatically when the vehicle reaches 20km/h. As the speed of the vehicle drops below 18 km/h, the output will be cut allowing doors to be opened at driver's discreation. The values of the relay's activation and deactivation speed can be produced in different values as per customers' request. ELO Speed Sensing Door Locking Relay can be used in many speed sensitive applications besides automatic door locking.
