The ELO Trailer Lights Control Relay is an universal device which can be used for trailer light control on all vehicles with confidence. In most vehicles current drawn by the lights is measured constantly. If case of  significant difference between rated and actually drawn current, the ECU senses this and reports an error to the dashboard. In case of an additional trailer bulbs being attached, the ECU may interpret it as a short circuit and even cut the vehicle's current for this application. This drawback can be solved easily by using the ELO Trailer Lights Control Relay.

The input currents of the unit are in range of a few mA resulting in ECU overlooking the extra load. Using ELO Trailer Lights Control Unit ensures dependable trailer lights with full synchronization to the vehicle.

Pink Cable (0.35mm²)        In parallel to vehicle right stop signal (59R)
Black Cable (0.35mm²)      In parallel to vehicle left tail light signal (57L)
Brown Cable (0.35mm²)     In parallel to vehicle right tail light signal (57R)
