The ELO Comfort Blinker brings new features to the standard flasher relay. The unit is an exact replacement Comfort Blinker used in new BMW, VW and Audi vehicles. Since it requires "piggback" installation, there is no tampering with the current wiring of the vehicle.
In standard vehicles the driver must switch on the turn signal indicator during lane change and turn it back to off position to stop flashing once the maneuver is completed. With the ELO Comfort Blinker, a light stroke of the flasher lever is enough for 4 convenient flashes without having to turn on and remembering to turn off the flasher lever.
If the driver signals the opposite direction before the 4 flashes are complete, the remaining number of flashes are cancelled, and the driver's preferred side continues to signal. The same way, hazard flashes override the 4 blinker flashes and remaining flashes are once again cancelled. All 5 terminals (31, 49a, 15, L, R) are 6,3 mm. plug-in terminals.
